Queen Ann Holiday Brunch Cake (bread Machine)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1/2 cup mixed candied fruit
  • 1/4 cup flaked coconut
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 -3 teaspoons orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange rind
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 cake ingredients should be at room temperature.
  • 2 place cake ingredients in pan in order listed.
  • 3 select sweet/basic/normal cycle.
  • 4 remove bread when cycle finished& cool.
  • 5 drizzle with orange glaze.
  • 6 to make glaze: combine all glaze ingredients, blend until smooth.
