Pineapple-glazed Ham

Total Time: 2 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 12 lbs fully cooked smoked bone-in ham or 12 lbs semiboneless ham
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • whole cloves

Recipe

  • 1 place ham fat side up on rack in shallow roasting pan. roast in 325 oven 2 1/2 hours.
  • 2 in small bowl mix well sugar, mustard and juice. remove ham from oven; trim off rind; score top in diamond pattrern. stud with cloves; brush with juice mixture.
  • 3 roast, brushing frequently, 45-60 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part, not touching bone, registers 140. let stand 10 minutes before carving.
