Ricotta And Fresh Chive Bread (bread Machine)

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup ricotta cheese (whole or part-skim)
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gluten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh chives
  • fresh ground black pepper, a dash
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 1 t. bread machine yeast)
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese (whole or part-skim)
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gluten, plus
  • 1 teaspoon gluten
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • fresh ground black pepper, a dash
  • 1 tablespoon fast rising yeast (or 1 t, plus 1/2 t. bread machine yeast)

Recipe

  • 1 place all the ingredients in the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s directions.
  • 2 set crust on medium and program for the basic cycle; press start.
  • 3 when the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place on a rack.
  • 4 let cool to room temperature before slicing.
