Ingredients
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Recipe
- 1 in a sauce pan, over medium heat, combine pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar and salt. bring to a gentle boil. combine the cherry juice and cornstarch to make a slurry. add the slurry into the gently boiling pineapple juice mixture. lower the heat and stir until desired thickness. (more cornstarch may be used if a thicker sauce is desired.).
