Ingredients
- 20 ounces lean ground turkey (85 percent)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped fine
- 1 cup french-fried onions, crushed
- 1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic or 1 large garlic clove
- 1/4 cup a.1. original sauce
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 3 large fresh tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 7 fresh garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup a.1. original sauce
- 1 small dried arbol chile (these are small, but hot)
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherry
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice (from the jar)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Recipe
- 1 meatballs:.
- 2 scoop and roll meat mixture into golf ball sized meatballs.
- 3 place meatballs on lined greased baking sheet.
- 4 bake meatballs at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes on bottom rack, turning once halfway through cooking time.

- 6 blend all sauce ingredients in a blender until liquefied.
- 7 pour into medium saucepan and simmer on low to low-medium for 30 minutes.
- 8 pour sauce over meatballs and serve.
