Merry Cherry Fudge

Ingredients

• Servings: 36
• 36 maraschino cherries, with stems and juice reserved
• 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
• 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 cup chopped pecans

Recipe

• 1 lightly coat an 8x8 pan with vegetable spray.
• 2 blot cherries dry.
• 3 combine chocolates in a heavy saucepan,place over low heat,and stir till melted and smooth.
• 4 remove from heat and stir in sweetened condensed milk and 1 tsp of reserved cherry juice.
• 5 stir in pecans.
• 6 pour mixture into prepared pan.
• 7 immediatly press cherries into fudge leaving the top and stem of each cherry exposed.
• 8 cover and chill fudge 2 hours.
• 9 cut into 36 squares, store in fridge.
• 10 makes 2 pounds.
