Refrigerator Ooey-gooey Cinnamon Rolls (bread Machine)

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 3 hrs Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 (3/4 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • chopped pecans
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 in a bread maker, first add the water, milk, egg,and salt. then add the sugar. on top of the sugar add the flour. make a well in the middle of the flour and add the yeast.
  • 2 place bread pan in the bread maker and set on the dough setting.
  • 3 while waiting for the dough, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and butter for the filling. set aside.
  • 4 once the dough is made in the bread maker, remove the dough and place on a lightly floured surface.
  • 5 with a floured rolling pin, roll out the dough until it is about 1/2 inch thick.
  • 6 even spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough. sprinkle with chopped pecans if using.
  • 7 roll the up the dough and seal the edges.
  • 8 grease a baking pan.
  • 9 with a really sharp knife, cut into 1 inch slices, should makes about 12 rolls, and place in greased pan.
  • 10 cover rolls and let rise until nearly doubled, about 1 hour or less.
  • 11 bake in a preheated 350°f oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • 12 for the icing: mix all the ingredients together and serve over warm rolls.
  • 13 optional: once the rolls are cut and placed into a greased pan, you can cover and place in refrigerator overnight and just pop them into a pre-heated oven in the morning. enjoy!
