Sinfully Easy Slow Cooker Beef

Total Time: 8 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 -3 lbs beef chuck
  • 3/4-1 cup apricot nectar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot chinese chili paste or 1/2-1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 trim the visible fat from the beef and discard.
  • 2 cut the roast into large chunks.
  • 3 combine the cut up beef, apricot nectar, soy sauce, black pepper, and hot pepper in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker.
  • 4 turn the heat to low, cover and cook for 8 hours or more, until the beef is tender.
  • 5 if you would like to thicken the sauce (this make the dish taste better), remove the meat and pour the sauce into a small skillet.
  • 6 let the sauce boil until it thickens to desired consistency, about 20 minute.
