Jerry's Healthy Soup

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 quart chicken stock, preferably home made chinese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (12 ounce) package medium firm tofu, sliced
  • 1 firm tomato, cut in wedges
  • spinach or watercress, torn up
  • 3 drops sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 bring stock to boil, seasoned to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
  • 2 stir in the spinach and tofu.
  • 3 bring back to boil; slowly stir in egg to form egg drop.
  • 4 stir in the tomato.
  • 5 put a few drops of sesame oil in each bowl.
  • 6 ladle soup into bowls.
