New Caledonian Crab Stuffed With Crayfish

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 kg crab, shelled
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 onion
  • 1 leek
  • 500 g breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 liter milk
  • 8 crayfish

Recipe

  • 1 1.pre-heat the oven at 220°c.
  • 2 2.dice the carrot, zucchini, onion and leek and fry with a little bit of butter.
  • 3 3.add the crab to the vegetables and fry.
  • 4 4.in a bowl mix the breadcrumb with the milk and then add to the crab and vegetables.
  • 5 5.season with salt and pepper and put aside.
  • 6 6.meanwhile cook the crayfish in boiling water for 1 minute.
  • 7 7.let it cool down and shell it.
  • 8 8.add the crayfish to the rest of the mix and pour it into individual buttered tins.
  • 9 9.cook in the oven for 20 minutes at 220°c.
  • 10 10.to be served hot!
