Perfect Steamed Jasmine Rice

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • water

Recipe

  • 1 place jasmine rice in an ovenproof small pot; wash with cold water and drain off the water.
  • 2 add clean cold water into the pot to the depth of the second line of your middle finger while touching the surface of the rice.
  • 3 preheat oven to 375°f
  • 4 bring rice and water to a boil; when the water starts to boil, remove from heat and cover the pot.
  • 5 place into the oven and bake for 18 minutes.
  • 6 remove from oven and serve immediately.
