Orange-cinnamon Bread (bread Machine)

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 orange, zest of
- 1 tablespoon gluten, plus
- 1 teaspoon gluten
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 3/4 t. bread machine yeast)
- 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 1/2-2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 add all the dough ingredients to the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s directions.
- 2 set crust on medium and program for the basic cycle; press start.
- 3 when the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.
- 4 place a plate or piece of waxed paper under the rack.
- 5 make the glaze: combine the powdered sugar, orange juice, and vanilla in a bowl; beat with a small whisk until smooth.
- 6 with a large spoon, drizzle the bread with the glaze, letting it drip down the sides.
- 7 cool to room temperature to set the glaze before slicing.
