Roast Wild Duck

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 cups apples, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • to taste salt
  • 1/4 lb bacon
  • 1 duck

Recipe

  • 1 wash and dry duck thoroughly.
  • 2 rub the insides with salt. fill the cavity with chopped apples and raisins.
  • 3 cover the breasts with bacon slices.
  • 4 roast the duck in moderate 325 degrees oven for 20 minutes to the pound.
  • 5 duck can be seasoned more with salt and paprika if desired.
