Low Fat Hummus Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 (19 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 put all ingredients in a food processor and puree together until smooth. transfer to a food saver container and keep in fridge to use as needed. i always put a piece of plastic wrap over the top of the food processor, thus eliminating the need to wash that part of the machine!
