Lamb Tenderloin

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 lb lamb tenderloin
  • 3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • chinese hot mustard (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, ketchup and garlic powder.
  • 2 place lamb in plastic bag set in a shallow dish; pour soy sauce mixture over meat.
  • 3 turn lamb to coat all sides.
  • 4 close bag and marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator, turning meat in marinade occasionally.
  • 5 drain lamb, discarding marinade.
  • 6 place lamb on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  • 7 insert a meat thermometer.
  • 8 roast, uncovered in a 325 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until thermometer registers 160 degrees.
  • 9 sprinkle sesame seed on a piece of foil.
  • 10 carefully roll lamb in sesame seed.
  • 11 cut into thin slices.
  • 12 serve with mustard, if you like.
