Lamb Tenderloin

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 lb lamb tenderloin
- 3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- chinese hot mustard (optional)
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, ketchup and garlic powder.
- 2 place lamb in plastic bag set in a shallow dish; pour soy sauce mixture over meat.
- 3 turn lamb to coat all sides.
- 4 close bag and marinate for 24 hours in refrigerator, turning meat in marinade occasionally.
- 5 drain lamb, discarding marinade.
- 6 place lamb on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
- 7 insert a meat thermometer.
- 8 roast, uncovered in a 325 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until thermometer registers 160 degrees.
- 9 sprinkle sesame seed on a piece of foil.
- 10 carefully roll lamb in sesame seed.
- 11 cut into thin slices.
- 12 serve with mustard, if you like.
