Cherry Winks

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 3/4 cup oleo
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup chopped dates
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 cup chopped maraschino cherry
• 1 cup crushed kellogg's special k cereal

Recipe

• 1 sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
• 2 cream together oleo, sugar, and eggs. blend in dry ingredients; mix well.
• 3 add dates, pecans, and cherries.
• 4 shape into balls and roll in crushed cereal.
• 5 place on a greased baking sheet.
• 6 top with a cherry half.
• 7 bake at 350°f for 10-12 minutes.
