Peanut Butter Fudge

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup peanut butter (recipe calls for jiffy)
  • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (variety is your choice)

Recipe

  • 1 in 2 1/2 quart saucepan combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk.
  • 2 bring to a full boil over medium heat stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  • 3 continue boiling over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • 4 remove from heat, add peanut butter and marshmallow creme stirring until melted.
  • 5 add vanilla and nuts.
  • 6 beat until well blended.
  • 7 spread into buttered 13 x 9 inch pan.
  • 8 cool to room temperature then refrigerate until firm.
  • 9 cut into squares.
