Lamb Chow Mein

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced onions
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced celery
  • 2 cups cooked lamb, diced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 16 ounces bean sprouts, drained
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • hot cooked rice or hot cooked chow mein noodles

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a deep skillet or wok.
  • 2 saute the onion and celery 5 minutes.
  • 3 mix in the lamb, soy sauce and sprouts.
  • 4 cook 2 minutes.
  • 5 mix the cornstarch with the broth.
  • 6 add to the skillet, stirring steadily to the boiling point.
  • 7 cook 3 minutes more.
  • 8 serve with rice or chow mein noodles.
