Frozen Vanilla Yogurt #2 (weight Watcher Friendly)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 1 1/2 cups low-fat yogurt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, beat egg with sugar until combined; set aside.
  • 2 in a saucepan heat milk just until bubbles appear around side of pan. stir a little into egg mixture, then pour back into saucepan. cook over heat, stirring just until thickened, 2 - 4 minutes. (do not let mixture boil or egg will curdle).
  • 3 remove from heat and cool completely.
  • 4 beat yogurt and vanilla into cooled mixture.
  • 5 process in ice cream machine.
