Pesto Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 25 g basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 cup pecorino cheese (grated)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 wash and dry the basil, put basil into the blender with the garlic and pine nuts, pulsate and then add the cheese's whilst blending add the oil a little at a time until reaching the desired consistency. just before serving season and if sauce is not moist enough add 2- 3 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water or if you prefer wine to moisten the sauce.
  • 2 serve over any pasta.
  • 3 this quantity should be enough to dress about 350gr pasta.
