Nannys Chocolate Pie 5 Star Family Favorite

Ingredients

• 3 egg yolks
• 1 1/4 cups sugar
• 3 tablespoons cocoa
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 baked pie shell

Recipe

• 1 combine all accept vanilla and cook on low heat until very thick. stir often to prevent scorching. remove from heat- let sit a minute or two and stir in vanilla.
• 2 pour into pie shell.
• 3 top with meringue and bake as directed.
