"chinese" Popcorn

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 cups unsalted popped corn
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 250 degrees f.
  • 2 in a large shallow roasting pan, combine popcorn, chow mein noodles, and peanuts.
  • 3 melt butter.
  • 4 add sesame oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and ginger.
  • 5 pour over popcorn mixture; toss to coat evenly. bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes
  • 6 spread on paper towels to cool.
  • 7 store in airtight container.
