Moussakas

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • zucchini
  • eggplant
  • potato
  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 -2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • toast, crumbs
  • cinnamon
  • bechamel sauce

Recipe

  • 1 we saute the onion with oil and minced meat, smother with the wine, add the tomato sauce diluted with some water and let it cook.
  • 2 in the end we stir in the eggs, cheese and toast crumbs.
  • 3 we fry the zucchini, eggplants and potatoes- all of them in flat slices cut sideways.
  • 4 we spread the butter in a baking pan, sprinkling with toast crumbs, and layer with potatoes, filling, eggplant, filling, zucchini and filling.
  • 5 we spread on the surface of the baking dish, sprinkle with cheese and bake until the cream begins to brown.
