Raspberry Cheesecake Ice Cream (for Electrice Ice Cream Maker)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole sugar-sprinkled raspberries

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan.
  • 2 heat over medium heat until berries are thawed and sugar is dissolved.
  • 3 cool mixture.
  • 4 press mixture through a strainer to remove seeds.
  • 5 add berry mixture and next 5 ingredients in blender. blend until smooth.
  • 6 poor into ice cream maker. run machine for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 7 add last ingredient to ice cream and run for another 5 minutes.
  • 8 can serve as is for soft-serve or let it ripen in the freezer for an hour or so.
  • 9 enjoy!
