Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
- 6 slices bacon (crisply cooked)
- 6 ounces swiss cheese (shredded)
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 ounces ham, cubes (about 1/2 cup)
- 4 eggs
- 1/8 onion (slice)
- 1/2 cup zucchini (optional)
Recipe
- 1 prepare pie crust, sprinkle crumbled bacon and cheese on the bottom of pie crust.
- 2 put remaining ingredients in blender container, blend on high for 10 sec, don't over-blend.
- 3 pour into pie crust over bacon and cheese.
- 4 to freeze: flash freeze pie and container. when frozen, cover with aluminum foil and seal in jumbo freezer bag.
- 5 to prepare: thaw quiche completely before baking. bake in preheated oven at 350 - degrees for 30 minutes, until top is golden brown and mixture is set. serve warm.
