Goat Cheese And Leek Tart

Ingredients

- 2 cups leeks, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 ounces fresh goat cheese
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 pie crust
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees. toss leeks with oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 2 mix goat cheese, cream cheese, milk, 2 egg yolks, and thyme. season with salt and pepper. in a different bowl, whisk together remaining egg yolk with water.
- 3 roll out dough to a 13 in, round. place on baking sheet. spread goat cheese mixture on crust leaving a 2 in border. sprinkle leeks evenly over the cheese. fold edge of dough over filling, pinching together as needed. brush with an egg wash.
- 4 bake until crust is golden brown, about 1 hour.
