New Year Fried Rice

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 slices bacon, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 cups cooked rice, cold
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon in wok until crisp.
  • 2 add green onions, red peppers and peas stir fry 1 minute.
  • 3 add egg and scramble.
  • 4 stir in rice and cook until heated, gently separating grains.
  • 5 add soy sauce; cook until heated through. serve immediately.
