Roast Beef

Total Time: 2 hrs 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 pot roast, 3-4 lbs
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sherry wine
  • 1 teaspoon ginger juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 green onions, cut into 1 1/2-inch lengths

Recipe

  • 1 marinate beef in soy sauce, sherry, ginger juice, salt and pepper at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • 2 wrap roast and green onions in heavy aluminum foil.
  • 3 pre-heat oven to 450* and bake for 20 minutes.
  • 4 turn heat to 325* and bake for 2 hours.
  • 5 serve hot.
  • 6 note: prep time does not include marinating time.
