Mini Doughnuts

Total Time: 17 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces caster sugar
  • 3 fluid ounces milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 sift dry ingredients together.
  • 2 separately whisk wet ingredients.
  • 3 combine and whisk.
  • 4 heat doughnut machine.
  • 5 brush each dip with hint of oil.
  • 6 put one dessertspoonful of batter into each dip.
  • 7 close lid.
  • 8 cook for 3 minutes.
  • 9 remove to cool on a rack and repeat with remaining mixture.
  • 10 decorate doughnuts.
  • 11 you could dip in melted chocolate.
  • 12 but i brush with a little warmed apricot jam and dip in sugar strands or hundreds and thousands or chocolate flakes.
